About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability, availability and scalability of infrastructure and the engineering platform
- Build and evolve the Agentic Engineering Platform with AI-assisted orchestration
- Design and implement CI/CD Golden Paths integrated with the agentic layer
- Develop monitoring, observability and alerting as a structural platform layer
- Evolve GKE Kubernetes base with focus on sustainability and automation
- Institutionalize AI-assisted incident management
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Support SLIs, SLOs and error budgets definition and tracking
- Support migrations of critical systems and deprecation of legacy technologies
Requirements
- Solid experience with GCP (GKE, IAM, Pub/Sub, BigQuery)
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed architecture
- Solid knowledge of IaC and Terraform
- Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Thanos, OpenTelemetry, AlertManager)
- Practical experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, GitOps on GKE
- 2+ years developing in Go or Python in production
- Experience with LLM agents in production (tool use, MCP, Vertex AI / Anthropic)
- Experience defining and tracking SLOs and error budgets
- Experience with incident management, on-call and post-mortems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building internal developer platforms or Golden Paths
- Contributions to observability, toil reduction or operations automation
- Experience in multi-cloud environments or high-traffic companies
- Familiarity with GitOps and declarative infrastructure management
