About the role
Responsibilities
- Process and review vendor invoices through Coupa, ensuring appropriate coding and approvals
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end AP close activities and accrued expenses
- Prepare and process weekly vendor payments
- Record miscellaneous cash receipts and disbursements
- Prepare general ledger journal entries
- Assist with bank and cash account reconciliations
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
- Perform compliance and internal control-related responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience with accounting in a publicly traded company
- Familiarity with SOX and internal control requirements
- Intermediate-to-advanced MS Office skills
- Exceptional time-management and follow-through skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Coupa
- Previous experience with NetSuite
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience within the life science industry
