Staff Data Scientist, Ads

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead Data Science partner for Mozilla's Ads business, working across Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and senior leadership
• Own complex analytical problems end-to-end, from framing the business question to driving follow-through
• Develop measurement frameworks for new advertising products, including success metrics and experimentation
• Analyze advertising revenue and performance to identify key drivers and inform business decisions
• Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for technical and executive audiences

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied quantitative roles
• Experience with digital advertising or a related monetization business
• Strong technical foundation in Python and SQL
• Demonstrated ability to independently frame ambiguous problems
• Excellent analytical judgment and communication skills
