Responsibilities

• Lead complex modelling and analytical projects of broad and diverse scope
• Drive cross-product initiatives with minimal direction
• Leverage deep learning and large language models with traditional data science techniques
• Prototype, deploy, and realize the value of models in market quickly
• Solve challenges involving big data, federated learning, and unstructured data
• Communicate technical findings to nontechnical stakeholders to drive business value

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar with 5+ years of experience
• OR Master's or Ph.D. in a related field with 3-5 years of experience
• Advanced proficiency with Python and deep learning frameworks
• Deep understanding of modern AI architectures (Transformers, Neural Networks, LLMs)
• Hands-on MLOps experience (Docker, CI/CD, model serving, and APIs)
• Experience monitoring models in production for data and concept drift
• Strong peer leadership and ability to mentor junior data scientists

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency with actuarial methods
• Familiarity with healthcare and medical data
• Experience with underwriting, claims, or predicting rare events
