Staff Engineer, Full Stack (Trust, Safety & Risk)

Responsibilities

• Build real-time risk controls and decisioning systems for ACH, debit cards, and money movement
• Develop signals and models for scam and abuse detection
• Build scalable KYC, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring systems
• Create data pipelines combining on-chain activity and product data
• Partner with product teams to design safeguards into new features
• Build internal operational tooling for Risk and Compliance teams
• Help establish technical foundations for the Trust, Risk & Safety function

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of full-time software engineering experience
• Experience designing and operating reliable, data-intensive production systems
• Strong product judgment and ability to balance UX with financial risk
• Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, and data pipelines
• Demonstrated interest in protecting users and building trustworthy financial products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fraud, risk, identity, KYC, AML, sanctions, payments, fintech, or blockchain systems
