About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead large FinOps projects from design through production launch
- Provide technical leadership and own major architectural decisions across the company
- Work on payments and transactions systems including Stripe, LayerFi, and Cherry integrations
- Develop middleware, GraphQL schemas, APIs, and data models
- Own org-level initiatives such as testing standards, SDLC, and code review
Requirements
- 8-12 years of backend engineering experience, including senior or staff level
- Experience leading large, ambiguous initiatives as a hands-on IC
- Depth in financial, payments, or transactions systems
- Strong backend and API design judgment
- Record of influencing architecture across teams
- Experience establishing engineering standards and practices
- Cross-functional partnership with Product and Design
- Fluency with AI tooling in daily development work
Preferred Qualifications
- Opinions on AI harnesses, tooling, and multi-agent workflows
