Staff Product Manager - VPN

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap end-to-end, from strategy and prioritization through specification and delivery
• Drive business performance metrics including revenue, trial-to-paid conversion, retention, churn, and LTV
• Define the subscription experience across Google Play, Apple App Store, and direct web checkout
• Design and launch a free, ad-supported tier and manage the hybrid monetization model
• Partner with Monetization and Legal to ensure compliance with app store and consumer-protection requirements
• Establish analytics requirements and a durable experimentation practice for paywalls, onboarding, and pricing
• Translate user research and competitive intelligence into a prioritized product backlog
• Partner with UA to scale paid acquisition profitably

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional product management experience, with 4+ years independently owning a business line
• Deep experience with consumer subscription products (pricing, packaging, trials, and store billing)
• Hands-on experience with in-app advertising (IAA) and mediation platforms like AppLovin MAX or Google AdMob
• Proven experience managing products with P&L accountability
• Experience in mobile app ecosystems at scale
• Proficiency with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with connectivity-focused products such as VPN, messaging, VoIP, or security software
• Familiarity with subscription infrastructure like RevenueCat, Superwall, Adapty, Apphud, or Stripe
• Experience integrating products post-acquisition
