About the role
About the Company
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and teardown of scenery, props, and stage equipment
- Support scene changes during performances to ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain backstage cleanliness and organization
- Conduct routine inspections of stage elements and report damage or safety concerns
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
- Collaborate with crew members and departments for performance readiness
- Attend technical rehearsals and production meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Stage or Technical Director
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical theatre training preferred
- Previous experience in stage crew or theatrical production support is an asset
- Basic understanding of stagecraft, rigging, and theatrical equipment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects in physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability
