Job description
Responsibilities
- Acquire new strategic and referral partners and clients by closing Junior Debt facilities
- Identify and forge new partnerships and alliances through research and creative outreach
- Manage inbound prospective partnership requests, qualification, and due diligence
- Engage in industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen brand reach
- Maintain and expand existing relationships across the partner network
- Collaborate with leadership to evolve capital product offerings and business processes
- Work with Underwriting, Marketing, and Customer Success on strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years in sales or business development
- Experience in financial services or commercial lending
- Proven track record of self-generating and closing transactions
- Financial literacy with ability to interpret financial statements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Ability to travel 15-30% for markets and sales meetings
