Strategy Officer (Principal/Senior/Officer)

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to support DTID's strategic planning
• Assess new organisational, programme, partnership and business-development opportunities
• Develop strategic proposals, concept notes, business cases and implementation plans
• Support sponsorship, partnership and government engagement proposals
• Prepare discussion papers, executive briefings and strategy reports
• Identify partnership opportunities with governments, organisations and companies
• Monitor implementation of strategic initiatives and identify emerging risks

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent research and written briefing skills
• Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant degree in business, economics, management, international development or related field
• Experience in strategy, consulting or business development
• Knowledge of climate change, sustainability, AI, blockchain or emerging technologies
