About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized guidance on academic requirements, course planning, and degree completion
- Monitor student progress and conduct early intervention outreach
- Support student orientation, onboarding, and academic-readiness activities
- Collaborate with faculty, the Registrar's Office, and Student Life to coordinate support
- Maintain accurate and confidential advising records using Student Information Systems and CRM tools
- Develop advising guides, workshops, and online resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related STEM discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in student advising, student affairs, or higher education administration
- Experience providing individualized guidance in a higher education environment
- Proficiency with student information systems, advising platforms, and CRM systems
- Ability to work effectively with diverse and international student populations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a research-intensive or technology-focused university
- Familiarity with UAE higher education and regulatory expectations
- Professional certification in academic advising, coaching, or counseling
