About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to students on on-campus and off-campus accommodation options and policies
- Support accommodation allocation, contract issuance, and check-in/check-out procedures
- Oversee room inspections, maintenance requests, and campus housing security
- Co-supervise the Residential Student Leader program, including recruitment and training
- Develop and deliver residential programming and events to foster community and inclusivity
- Provide pastoral support, mentorship, and crisis intervention for student residents
- Maintain a database of off-campus housing options and administer financial support schemes for deposits
- Gather and analyze student feedback to improve housing services
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in hospitality, property management, or facilities management
- At least two years of experience specifically in university accommodation services
- Proven ability to manage residential operations and resolve maintenance issues
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and support a team of student leaders
- Ability to work irregular hours and live on campus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for providing pastoral guidance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the UAE or with international students
- Professional credentials in coaching or counseling
- First aid certification
- Understanding of Middle Eastern business and cultural practices
