Student Housing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to students on on-campus and off-campus accommodation options and policies
• Support accommodation allocation, contract issuance, and check-in/check-out procedures
• Oversee room inspections, maintenance requests, and campus housing security
• Co-supervise the Residential Student Leader program, including recruitment and training
• Develop and deliver residential programming and events to foster community and inclusivity
• Provide pastoral support, mentorship, and crisis intervention for student residents
• Maintain a database of off-campus housing options and administer financial support schemes for deposits
• Gather and analyze student feedback to improve housing services

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in hospitality, property management, or facilities management
• At least two years of experience specifically in university accommodation services
• Proven ability to manage residential operations and resolve maintenance issues
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and support a team of student leaders
• Ability to work irregular hours and live on campus
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for providing pastoral guidance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the UAE or with international students
• Professional credentials in coaching or counseling
• First aid certification
• Understanding of Middle Eastern business and cultural practices
