Success Engineer

Responsibilities

• Talk to users to understand their goals and challenges
• Help customers design and optimize their Metabase implementation
• Guide customers on data ingestion, transformation, and query execution
• Solve complex problems and troubleshoot customer issues
• Collaborate with technical communicators to create educational materials
• Serve as the voice of the customer to product and engineering teams

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing production code, administering systems, or managing databases
• Strong database and SQL skills
• Expertise in at least two of the following: web application troubleshooting, infrastructure management (Docker, AWS, GCP), or database optimization
• Strong ability to investigate and diagnose complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Metabase or other BI tools
• Experience working with open source products
• Fluency in multiple languages
