Supervisor Claims - LHB

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of Claim Analysts to meet client and corporate commitments
• Achieve team quality, production, and service expectations
• Lead staff development and implement new clients into the Unit
• Answer complex or difficult claim questions
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure all department goals are met

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 3-5 years of claim processing experience
• Self-directed with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous supervisory or management experience
• Self-Funded Insurance/Benefits and/or TPA experience
