About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead group-wide finance transformation initiatives, including accounting system implementation and data migration
- Streamline finance processes and design controls to eliminate payment errors
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and AML regulations
- Oversee trade license renewals and regulatory permit registrations
- Conduct pre-audit reviews of financial transactions and oversee payment requests
- Manage financial system governance to ensure integrity and security
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in finance focusing on compliance and system transformation
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax laws
- Proficiency in ERP systems and finance automation tools
- Strong understanding of AML compliance and internal control frameworks
- Excellent English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIA
- Experience in the real estate or allied service industries
- Knowledge of the Arabic language
