About the role
About the Company
Wynn Al Marjan Island is an upcoming opulent and entertaining beachside destination in the United Arab Emirates, set to open in 2027. This integrated resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and a five-star spa.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily payroll operations and supervise the payroll team
- Oversee payroll system management, updates, and improvements in coordination with IT
- Review, process, and approve payroll adjustments and resolve employee payroll inquiries
- Ensure accurate payroll posting to the general ledger for timely book closure
- Support monthly payroll, professional tax, and social security processing and reporting
- Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements, company policies, and payroll accuracy/timeliness
- Maintain professional standards and adhere to health & safety and sustainability practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience at a supervisory level
- Strong knowledge of UAE payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
