About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate virtual support groups for trans, nonbinary, and non-cis people
- Cultivate safe spaces for members to share questions, experiences, and wisdom
- Develop intentional sessions with clear objectives, activities, and takeaways
- Manage group dynamics and navigate sensitive or divisive topics with care
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and escalate concerns beyond the scope of peer support
Requirements
- Strong ability to build trusting relationships
- Communication skills rooted in empathy, professionalism, and inclusivity
- Ability to arrive prepared and manage time effectively
- Deep commitment to supporting peers in their gender journeys
- Comfort working in a growing and evolving start-up environment
