Sustainability Regulatory (Fixed Contract)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a regulatory register covering PPWR, EUDR, SB54, UK RAM and related rules
• Set up a repeatable horizon-scanning process for new and changing regulation
• Keep PPWR packaging documentation audit-ready in one organized repository
• Keep EPR registrations and reporting current in every market
• Support the EUDR compliance programme with Packaging, NPD, Procurement and Logistics
• Plan readiness for the EU Forced Labour Regulation, ESPR and Digital Product Passports
• Manage external consultants and lead regulatory work independently

Requirements

• At least 5 years in sustainability or regulation, ideally beauty, retail or consumer goods
• Ability to learn new regulation quickly and act before guidance is final
• Interest in AI and technology with examples of simplifying work
• Strong project management, including managing consultants or external partners
• Comfortable using data to make decisions
• Explains complex rules in plain terms and turns them into next steps
