About the role
Responsibilities
- Own Tableau as a platform for a large technology company's AI and data organization
- Manage an enterprise-scale deployment with approximately 80,000 monthly active users and 15,000 publishers
- Oversee content architecture, governance, performance, and adoption
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams
- Extend Tableau capabilities using AI through Tableau MCP, custom Tableau skills, and AI agents
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of the Tableau platform
- Ability to think strategically about BI evolution alongside AI
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Proactive approach to anticipating demand and platform needs
