About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax to ensure compliance with latest regulations
- Provide high-level tax advisory services, including tax planning and impact assessments
- Oversee corporate tax filing processes via the Emaratax portal and manage penalty assessments
- Manage a high volume of tax registration processes
- Identify and close process gaps to enhance operational efficiency
- Contribute to automation initiatives for data handling and reporting workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CMA, CA Inter, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting with a focus on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax
- In-depth knowledge of the Emaratax portal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing high volumes of tax registrations and filings
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
- Proven track record in process automation and improvement
- Strong organizational and communication skills
