About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise government and public sector clients on local and overseas tax affairs
- Advise on obtaining and preserving tax exempt status
- Identify tax planning opportunities arising from legislation, regulations and rulings
- Structure revenue generating activities for clients
- Advise on executive compensation, employee benefits and tax compliance
- Manage indirect taxes and dispute resolution matters
- Support team to improve ways of working and develop people
Requirements
- Experience in tax advisory for government or public sector organisations
- Knowledge of income, excise and employment tax requirements
- Strategic consulting and business analysis skills
