Tax & Legal Services - Tax - Indirect Tax - Manager - Dubai

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy
• Help businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations (VAT, GST, sales tax) and optimize tax positions
• Motivate, develop, and inspire team members to deliver high-quality work
• Coach team members, leverage unique strengths, and manage performance to meet client expectations
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality and deliverables
• Mentor others and use work reviews to deepen team expertise
• Address conflicts and engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders
• Uphold professional and technical standards and the Firm's code of conduct

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of indirect tax, including VAT and GST
• Ability to analyze and identify linkages within complex systems
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience in project management and budgeting
• Ability to handle difficult conversations and conflict resolution
