About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the company's UAE tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Oversee UAE Corporate Tax calculations, filings, and compliance
- Manage VAT compliance, returns, assessments, and related matters
- Advise on tax implications of real estate acquisitions, developments, investments, and disposals
- Provide support on international tax matters and cross-border transactions
- Assist with tax planning and development of tax-efficient structures
- Monitor changes in UAE and international tax legislation
- Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and legal advisors
- Manage tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities
- Identify tax risks and ensure appropriate controls and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of tax experience in the UAE
- Mandatory experience in UAE real estate development or investment
- Strong practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT
- Exposure to International Tax and cross-border transactions
- Experience with tax planning, structuring, and tax risk management
- CA, ACCA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
