About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to the classroom teacher in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment for young learners
- Assist with the creation, preparation, and organization of learning materials and classroom displays
- Support children aged 3-5 years within a classroom environment
- Utilize classroom technology including interactive whiteboards and tablets
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Teacher Assistant or similar role in Early Years or Key Stage 1
- Demonstrable experience supporting children aged 3-5 years
- Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to meet ADEK regulatory requirements and security clearances
- Possession of a valid UAE residency visa or eligibility to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications
- Cache Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years
- Relevant diploma in early childhood development
- Previous experience in a British curriculum school
- Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework
