Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to the classroom teacher in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team
• Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment for young learners
• Assist with the creation, preparation, and organization of learning materials and classroom displays
• Support children aged 3-5 years within a classroom environment
• Utilize classroom technology including interactive whiteboards and tablets

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Teacher Assistant or similar role in Early Years or Key Stage 1
• Demonstrable experience supporting children aged 3-5 years
• Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to meet ADEK regulatory requirements and security clearances
• Possession of a valid UAE residency visa or eligibility to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications

• Cache Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years
• Relevant diploma in early childhood development
• Previous experience in a British curriculum school
• Comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework
