Teaching Assistant - Management

Responsibilities

• Conduct tutorials, seminars, and small group learning sessions
• Review and deliver teaching and assessment materials provided by Curtin Perth
• Assist students with course content, assessment requirements, and academic expectations
• Mark assignments, quizzes, and examinations using approved rubrics and moderation guidelines
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students
• Collaborate with Unit Coordinators in Perth and Dubai to ensure consistency in unit delivery
• Support industry engagement activities, including guest lectures and industry visits
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and engagement

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of one year of successful teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop rapport with students in various learning contexts
• Experience working with a diverse range of students
• Proficiency in assessment and marking using structured rubrics
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
