Team Leader.Bancassurance - Mashreq Gold.Retail Banking Group

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, and manage day-to-day activities of the call centre team operating within Mashreq Bank premises.
• Drive achievement of agreed sales targets across Non-Life insurance products, including new business, renewals, and cross-sell opportunities.
• Perform regular call monitoring and transaction reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer fairness.
• Ensure structured usage of Mashreq-provided BI-generated customer leads.
• Support onboarding of new telesales staff and provide continuous coaching and motivation.
• Oversee complaint routing and follow-up with insurance partners for resolution within defined SLAs.
• Liaise closely with Partner/Aggregator management and Mashreq internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in insurance telesales, bancassurance, or contact center operations.
• At least 2–3 years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Non-Life insurance products (Motor, Health, Home, Travel).
• Experience working with third-party vendors or outsourced call centre models is highly preferred.
• UAE insurance market experience is strongly desirable.
