About the role
Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and grow the Technical Account Management (TAM) team
- Own the coverage model for named accounts and partner-mapped accounts
- Act as the senior escalation layer for complex, high-impact technical issues
- Ensure consistent onboarding, adoption, and proactive technical guidance across the portfolio
- Represent the aggregated voice of the customer to engineering and product teams
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success leadership to protect NRR and account health
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in database internals, scalability, and infrastructure tradeoffs
- Track record of hiring and developing technical customer-facing teams
- Ability to manage portfolio-level judgment across 100+ accounts
- Experience coordinating high-severity, multi-stakeholder incidents
- Background in engineering, SRE, or technical consulting
