About the role
Responsibilities
- Technical sourcing and procurement for electrical components such as PCBs, motors, power electronics, RF and batteries
- Find and qualify global suppliers within project time, cost and quality constraints
- Support rapid prototyping requirements with engineering stakeholders
- Lead contract formulation, supplier negotiations and supplier performance monitoring
- Allocate purchase requisitions to Procurement Officers and supervise the team
- Identify process improvements to reduce procurement costs
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management
- Contract negotiation and supplier management expertise
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree, electrical related ideally
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain or procurement
- CIPS qualification or equivalent
