About the role
Responsibilities
- Test Braze Canvases and campaigns, including audience segments, triggers, and branching paths
- Validate Liquid logic, email HTML, responsive layouts, and UTM parameters
- Perform SMS QA for content, encoding, and opt-out functionality
- Review targeting, rate limits, and frequency caps before launch
- Conduct periodic automation audits to ensure data and messaging accuracy
- Troubleshoot delivery failures, webhook errors, and data sync discrepancies
- Document bugs with reproducible tickets for engineering teams
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Braze (Segmenter, Connected Content, custom attributes/events)
- Advanced Liquid scripting skills (conditional logic, arrays, loops)
- Experience with email HTML/CSS and cross-client rendering
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON payloads
- Experience developing QA checklists and documenting bugs in Jira or Asana
- Availability for approximately 10 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Braze Administrator or Developer certification
- Experience with Amplitude, Segment, Snowflake, or Redash
- Basic SQL skills for data validation
