Technical Procurement Specialist - Industrial Equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement requests from initial enquiry through purchasing and delivery coordination
• Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and product requirements to identify suitable suppliers
• Source industrial equipment, machinery components, and spare parts from international markets
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
• Request and compare supplier quotations on pricing, quality, specifications, and delivery
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial conditions with suppliers
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and follow up on confirmations and deliveries
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners
• Monitor order progress and resolve supply, pricing, or delivery issues
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Supply Chain, or Procurement
• Proven experience in technical procurement, purchasing, or sourcing
• Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into purchasing solutions
• Experience identifying suppliers, comparing quotations, and negotiating terms
• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement requests
• Fluent English communication skills
