About the role
Responsibilities
- Create clear, detailed product specifications for new features and capabilities
- Turn operator, customer and technical input into actionable product requirements
- Own bounded features from definition through design, development and validation
- Work with Product Design to translate specifications into workflows and Figma designs
- Facilitate product discussions with government customers, contractors and engineers
- Identify ambiguity, conflicting requirements and missing decisions early
Requirements
- Excellent writing skills for complex product definitions
- Strong product judgment when requirements are incomplete
- Technical curiosity to engage with software and systems engineers
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual or eligible for U.S. Department of State authorizations (ITAR)
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical product management experience
- Complex B2B, command-and-control or mission planning software
- Aerospace, defense, robotics or autonomous systems
- Government programs and operational testing
