About the Company

Allen Control Systems (ACS) is a cutting-edge defense startup developing autonomous gun turrets that employ advanced computer vision and control systems to neutralize small drones and loitering munitions. Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and operation roles supporting defense and government programs
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand technical requirements, clearance needs, and program timelines
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking events, and direct outreach
  • Screen candidates for technical competency, cultural fit, and eligibility for defense-related programs
  • Guide candidates through interview, offer, and onboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Stay current on defense labor market trends, clearance requirements, and compliance regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFCCP)
  • Support employer branding and represent the organization at recruiting events and industry conferences

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of experience in recruiting
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting
  • Start-up exposure
  • Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, and business operations
  • Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
