About the role
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting from first touch to signed offer across engineering, manufacturing, operations and leadership
- Build the sourcing engine: outbound strategy, talent maps, referral loops and automation/AI tooling
- Travel regularly to meet candidates in person and host finalists at the Detroit factory
- Design a fast, sharp candidate experience and instrument the hiring funnel
- Partner with the founder and hiring managers to define great candidates and hold a high bar
- Lay the foundation of the talent function and hire and lead future recruiters
Requirements
- Track record of full-cycle recruiting for hard-to-find talent
- Fluency with ATS, sourcing tools, scripts and AI
- Strong online sourcing across modern channels and communities
- High agency and comfort with ambiguity
- Persuasive, high-integrity communication
