About the role
Responsibilities
- Research and write technical blog posts, use case guides, tutorials, and engineering deep-dives
- Explain complex technical concepts such as data warehouses, logs, traces, and AI agents
- Identify high-impact content opportunities based on product shipping and company priorities
- Collaborate with engineers and marketers to extract technical stories and edit their contributions
- Determine the best format for content, ranging from engineering blogs to SEO explainers and social threads
Requirements
- Proven portfolio of technical explainers, engineering posts, or tutorials for a developer audience
- Ability to take complicated technical information and make it clear and enjoyable to read
- Technical capability to understand and accurately explain APIs, LLMs, and data infrastructure
- Strong independent work ethic and ability to self-scope assignments
- Experience using AI to enhance writing workflows and productivity
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing for developer tools or B2B SaaS companies
- History of shipping side projects or small technical tools
- Familiarity with the PostHog platform
