About the role
Responsibilities
- Process teller counter service transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, and foreign currency transactions
- Liaise with the Treasury department to obtain optimal rates for VIP and high net worth customers
- Cross-sell products or identify and refer product inquiries to Sales staff
- Act as a dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery
- Perform cash reconciliation, balancing, and end-of-day activities
- Manage general filing and ensure compliance with Branch Operations Centralization Projects
Requirements
- Must be a UAE National
- Knowledge of retail banking products and services
- Understanding of operational policies and procedures
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks
- Familiarity with Central Bank of UAE regulations
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Awareness of local market competitors
