Teller

Responsibilities

• Process teller counter service transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, and foreign currency transactions
• Liaise with the Treasury department to obtain optimal rates for VIP and high net worth customers
• Cross-sell products or identify and refer product inquiries to Sales staff
• Act as a dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery
• Perform cash reconciliation, balancing, and end-of-day activities
• Manage general filing and ensure compliance with Branch Operations Centralization Projects

Requirements

• Must be a UAE National
• Knowledge of retail banking products and services
• Understanding of operational policies and procedures
• Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks
• Familiarity with Central Bank of UAE regulations
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Awareness of local market competitors
