Therapeutic Area Medical Sr Mgr

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of patient-focused medical strategies
• Lead adaptation of global/regional strategy to reflect local priorities
• Communicate scientific information to the medical community
• Foster collaboration across Medical functions
• Lead relationships with external healthcare community and opinion leaders
• Manage medical product budgets and talent development
• Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and SOPs
• Provide strategic input into regulatory and promotional materials
• Facilitate Investigator Sponsored Studies

Requirements

• Doctorate degree
• 5 years of medical affairs or clinical development experience
• 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• 2 years of managerial or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development and lifecycle

• Experience in regional/local medical practice and healthcare ecosystems

• Clinical research and trial design experience

• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices (GCP)

• Network of medical and clinical contacts in the therapeutic area
