Trading Support Controller

Responsibilities

• Review and verify logistics-related invoices against contracts and supporting documents
• Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, Incoterms, and contractual conditions
• Prepare and submit invoices for payment in line with internal procedures
• Perform operational reconciliation of balances with counterparties and service providers
• Consolidate mutual settlements and monitor open positions across contracts and shipments
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, logistics costs, and quality claims
• Liaise with Operations, logistics, and counterparties to clarify financial issues
• Support contract execution by aligning financial aspects with shipment documents
• Work with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure proper cost and revenue allocation
• Support month-end closing with reconciliations and accruals
• Maintain accurate trade-related financial data in internal files and CRM

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics and commodities trading
• Understanding of Incoterms, trade lifecycle, and shipping documentation
• Experience with logistics cost structures including freight and demurrage
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage large data volumes
• Strong communication skills for international counterparty interaction
