About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the vision, mission, and strategy for Beverage Academy programs in alignment with luxury service philosophy
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of trainers and beverage professionals
- Design and oversee comprehensive training programs covering wines, spirits, cocktails, beer, coffee, tea, and water service
- Integrate Forbes Travel Guide standards and guest experience principles into all beverage training curricula
- Partner with HR and Learning & Development to integrate beverage training into employee career paths
- Coach and develop beverage teams to demonstrate Forbes-level service behaviors
- Develop and maintain beverage training standards, SOPs, and learning materials
- Monitor performance metrics of training programs to measure impact on quality and guest satisfaction
- Manage the beverage training budget and track ROI of training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible service of alcohol
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive beverage leadership experience in luxury hospitality
- Proven expertise in wines, spirits, cocktails, coffee, tea, and luxury beverage service standards
- Strong background in beverage education, training program design, and talent development
- Experience supporting Forbes Travel Guide audits or equivalent luxury benchmarking
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills with multicultural teams
- Professional beverage certifications from recognized institutions preferred
