Treasury Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support daily treasury operations, cash management, payment processing and bank reconciliations
• Monitor bank accounts and cash positions, prepare liquidity reports and assist with cash forecasting
• Process domestic and international payments and resolve issues with banking partners
• Maintain treasury records, banking documentation and databases
• Support month-end, audit and treasury reporting activities
• Assist with banking administration, account documentation, KYC reviews and bank mandates
• Support CEMAC banking activities and BEAC foreign exchange compliance
• Support treasury systems, banking platforms and process improvement projects

Requirements

• 2-5 years in treasury, cash management, banking operations or finance
• Fluency in French and English
• Experience with payment processing and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with electronic banking platforms and SWIFT payments
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, banking or business administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office
• Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banks in Central Africa and BEAC exchange control requirements
• Knowledge of CFA Franc (XAF) payment processes
• Treasury-related qualifications
• Experience in a multinational corporate environment
• Familiarity with ERP and treasury management systems
