About the role
Responsibilities
- Initiate and execute domestic and international payments, including vendor payments and payroll
- Monitor and manage daily cash balances across all ALU entities and bank accounts
- Prepare and update short and medium-term cash flow forecasts
- Coordinate statutory obligations including Withholding Tax (WHT) and VAT filings
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Manage bank account setup, maintenance, and signatory updates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for banking partners and tax regulators
- Enforce adherence to treasury processes, approval matrices, and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2⁅4 years of experience in treasury, accounting, fund accounting or finance operations
- Exposure to payment processing, bank reconciliations, or cash management
- Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Working knowledge of tax compliance (WHT, VAT) is an advantage
