About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage cash counter transactions for a branch with a large customer base and significant portfolio size
- Process all counter transactions accurately and swiftly in accordance with procedures
- Ensure zero risk of cash differences through diligent and attentive processing
- Manage customer expectations and reduce waiting times
- Be vigilant against fraud and risks
- Investigate differences in balancing and reconciliation of cash and other security items
- Assist CSM in handling day-to-day transactional and branch-related activities
- Cross-sell MMC and other products
- Ensure proper custodianship of all security items related to counter transactions
Requirements
- UAE National status required
- 3-4 years of experience as a teller within the banking industry
- In-depth knowledge of counter-related and dependent processes
- Basic accounting and reporting knowledge
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle pressure and routine work with enthusiasm
- Detail-oriented and quick with numbers
