Ubuntu Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collect customer business requirements and advise on Ubuntu and open source applications
• Identify customer challenges and articulate how Ubuntu Pro solves them
• Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective and current clients
• Liaise with product teams to provide feedback and influence roadmap
• Collaborate with sales teams to reach common targets
• Travel globally up to 25% of time for events and customer meetings

Requirements

• Exceptional academic track record
• Undergraduate degree in technical subject or compelling alternative path
• Practical knowledge of Linux, virtualisation, containers and networking
• Knowledge of cloud computing, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP
• Intermediate Python programming skills
• Professional written and spoken English
• Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
• Willingness to travel internationally
