About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments of data ecosystems and governance for business statistics in Thailand
  • Map business registration workflows and assess interoperability between registry, tax, and procurement systems
  • Contribute to stakeholder interviews and validation workshops
  • Identify gaps and practical reform pathways for data governance and administrative coordination
  • Monitor, consolidate, and document results from the WE RISE Together project implementation
  • Lead the set-up of an entrepreneurship and buyer database for UN Women Thailand
  • Support the development of technical sessions for workshops in Thailand and Lao PDR

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance or a related field (or a first-level degree with two additional years of experience)
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in statistics, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, or reporting
  • Fluency in English and Thai is required
  • Experience with national statistical systems and/or generating evidence for policy development is an advantage
  • Experience in business statistics, administrative data, or business registries is desirable
  • Familiarity with the Thailand country context and women's economic empowerment is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the UN system is an asset
