About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments of data ecosystems and governance for business statistics in Thailand
- Map business registration workflows and assess interoperability between registry, tax, and procurement systems
- Contribute to stakeholder interviews and validation workshops
- Identify gaps and practical reform pathways for data governance and administrative coordination
- Monitor, consolidate, and document results from the WE RISE Together project implementation
- Lead the set-up of an entrepreneurship and buyer database for UN Women Thailand
- Support the development of technical sessions for workshops in Thailand and Lao PDR
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance or a related field (or a first-level degree with two additional years of experience)
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in statistics, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, or reporting
- Fluency in English and Thai is required
- Experience with national statistical systems and/or generating evidence for policy development is an advantage
- Experience in business statistics, administrative data, or business registries is desirable
- Familiarity with the Thailand country context and women's economic empowerment is an advantage
- Familiarity with the UN system is an asset
