About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee strategic communications and branding for the GCC region
- Produce social media content, press releases, media briefs, talking points and newsletters
- Identify and develop new strategic partnerships with government, private sector and academia
- Maintain an updated stakeholder and partnership database
- Support the WEPs in Action campaign and promote Women's Empowerment Principles among private-sector companies
- Coordinate media coverage and digital storytelling around high-level events and campaigns
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in resource mobilization, communications or business development
- Experience in gender equality and women's empowerment
- Experience working with civil society, international institutions and donors
- Fluent English; Arabic is an asset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the UN system
- Experience with social media and digital communications
