About the role
Responsibilities
- Support design, development, testing and implementation of AI and machine-learning applications
- Research and evaluate AI models, datasets, frameworks and tools
- Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives, pilots and technology demonstrations
- Apply AI, machine learning, data science and data modelling across projects
- Contribute technical input to research papers and publications
- Assess quality, reliability, security and scalability of AI-based solutions
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and knowledge resources
- Collaborate with technology specialists, researchers and other teams
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good technical and programming capability
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Python or R and ML frameworks
- Experience with datasets, APIs and data-processing environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline
- Open-source projects or GitHub contributions
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of climate change, sustainability or blockchain
