Usher

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Direct attendees to registration, seating, entrances, exits, and other designated areas
• Check tickets, invitations, wristbands, or guest lists
• Provide guests with event information and answer general inquiries
• Assist with crowd flow, queue management, and wayfinding
• Support VIP arrivals and reserved seating
• Monitor assigned areas and report issues to the Event Supervisor
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and uphold customer service standards
• Follow event procedures, health and safety guidelines, and management instructions

Requirements

• Previous experience in ushering, events, hospitality, retail, or customer service is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English
• Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented
• Well-groomed with a professional appearance
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in busy, fast-paced environments
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts
• Legally eligible to work in the UAE
