About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chancellor and Board of Trustees to develop and implement the University's strategic plan
- Oversee the Financial Affairs Department, including accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and audits
- Manage the University's annual operating and capital budgets
- Provide executive oversight of the Human Resources Department, including talent acquisition and performance management
- Direct the Procurement Department to ensure transparent and cost-effective processes
- Lead the university's digital transformation strategy and IT security systems
- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework
- Lead and mentor directors across HR, Procurement, IT, Facilities Management, and Finance
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Public Administration
- 10+ years of senior-level leadership experience in financial and administrative management
- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and internal control systems
- Experience overseeing multiple functions including HR, IT, Procurement, and Facilities Management
- Experience implementing ERP systems and digital transformation projects
- Strong knowledge of UAE federal regulations and labor laws
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate degree
- Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA
